De Djawatan Mug
De Djawatan Mug
Moss green, pale blue-green glaze and warm earthy marks give this ceramic mug a layered surface. Its softly tapered shape is paired with an angular handle.
The palette
Inspired by De Djawatan, the series explores the light and shade of a forest through green mineral glazes. The landscape informs the colour; the piece is made in Jingdezhen.
Made in Jingdezhen
Made with our partner studio in Jingdezhen, China. The firing approach draws on methods from Japanese craftspeople and uses mineral glazes that differ from traditional Shino formulations.
